TAPER CANDLE PAINTING WORKSHOP — with Candle-Safe Wax Paints

WHERE: We would love to welcome you to our sunny studio in Bowes Park, North London, or we can come to you and host in the comfort of your home, All we need is a place setting per person.

WORKSHOP CONTENT: You will decorate 4 vegetable-wax taper candles, and take home 2 beautiful candle holders.

Get ready for a colourful, hands-on creative session where you’ll turn simple taper candles into beautifully decorated pieces using real candle-safe wax paints. These special paints melt cleanly with the candle, making your designs both gorgeous and safe to burn.

No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play with pattern, colour, and flow.

In this fun, relaxed workshop you’ll learn:

  • How to work with candle-safe wax paints

  • Simple brush techniques for smooth lines and bold designs

  • How to place your artwork so the candle burns beautifully

  • Easy patterns anyone can create: florals, stripes, dots, waves, abstract accents

  • How to get clean, crisp results even if you “can’t draw”

You’ll create four  hand-painted tapers to take home, along with a pair of candle holders - perfect for your dinner table, gifting, or simply adding a pop of colour to a room.

Expect good vibes, a friendly atmosphere, and an hour or so of creative escape.
All materials included, just bring your imagination.

TIMINGS: AM (10am-12.30pm ) OR PM (7pm-9.30pm) workshops available, on a date to be arranged to suit.

DURATION: The workshop lasts approx 2 Hours

EXTRA INFO:

The candles you make will take approximately an hour to set after painting. Feel free to collect your candles anytime after this 1 hour window (during business hours) or alternatively we can ship your candles to you for £6 (within the U.K. only). We will hold your candles for up to 30 days, after that we will donate them to charity.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Each workshop participant will have their own candles, paints and brushes, and candle holders, as well as aprons for any small spills.

All materials and  light refreshments are included in the price ( Normally tea, coffee, and sweet or savoury snacks ) Alcohol may be brought with you.

This is a private group booking and as such the full studio / workshop cost is payable for the group to go ahead.

After a date has been agreed, a full refund will be given for group cancellation requested more than 14 days before the course date.

No refunds are given for cancellations requested after this time as the studio has been reserved and places cannot be filled. we may be able to move dates at our discretion.

 *All students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
